Everyone has waited on bated breath… give it up for our our official Silly Billy winners (aka Silly Billy Winnies) as announced at the PCAF Exhibitors’ Afterparty!
What are the Silly Billies, I hear you ask? Only the silliest, most trivial, most inconsequential comic awards this side of the equator! Silly categories include “The Best Rendering of a Butt” and “The Sparkliest Anime Eyes”. Nominations were made on Market Day at this year’s PCAF to our roving judges.

PCAF Stories is looking for new presenters for Kids PCAF Stories, happening Sunday the 1st of November at the State Library Theatre. If you’re based in WA, or you’ll be in Boorloo for the event, we’d love to see what you make!

Next year we’ll be celebrating 10 years of the Perth Comic Arts Festival from July 12th to 18th! PCAF 2027 will be loaded with all of your favourite programming like Academy Day, Market Hall, Deep Dive Workshops, Look Hear, an exciting new Exhibition and a new edition of TALE TOWN.
In addition, we’re excited to reveal that the 2027 Festival will also feature an Academic Comic Symposium and an International Comic Publishing Rights Market.

Between October and December 2026, for three weeks, the Museum is hosting Belgian and international comic artists in Brussels for an artistic residency. Applications close August 14th.
