PCAF Academy Monthly Sessions
PCAF Academy is a meetup on the first Sunday of most months for community building and knowledge sharing.
These sessions usually consist o
f an artist talk, workshop, or other activities related to creating comics, appropriate for any skill level from beginners to pros.
Please note that monthly Academy sessions are community meetups, rather than family-friendly events. Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Monthly Academy Sessions
Most sessions are hosted on the first Sunday each month from 2:00 – 4:00pm in the Geographe Room at the State Library of WA. If there’s a change of plans, we’ll communicate this through our social media channels ahead of time.
Though PCAF Academy runs monthly, we do sometimes take a break for one or two sessions each year based on our capacity.
PCAF Academy Sessions are free to attend and are not ticketed, but this may change in the future based on demand! Please be respectful of the State Library of WA and keep noise to a minimum in the common areas. We know that you’re very excited to chat about comics (us too), but try to move loud discussions to outside of the library after the session.
More information (including accessibility, parking, and maps) can be found on the State Library of WA’s website.
